Every season tells a story, but the most meaningful chapters are written by the players who shape the culture of a program.
This year the Ridgway Demons proudly recognize two seniors who have done exactly that — Henry Deppen and Brodie Musgrove.
Both young men represented Ridgway Basketball with pride throughout their careers. Their leadership, toughness, and commitment helped guide our program while setting an example for younger players about what it means to compete the right way.
Brodie leaves Ridgway as a player who consistently impacted the game in multiple ways. Over the course of his career he accumulated nearly 500 points, 230 rebounds, and more than 100 assists, demonstrating his ability to contribute across the board.
His strong senior season was recognized across the league as he was named 2nd Team All–San Juan League.
One of the most memorable moments of Brodie’s career came on February 13th, 2025, when he delivered a 40-point performance against Ouray — a night that showcased his scoring ability and competitive spirit.
Brodie’s effort, consistency, and willingness to do whatever the team needed made him a key part of the program and a great example for the players who will follow.
Henry leaves Ridgway as one of the most accomplished players in program history. Over his career he surpassed 1,000 points, while also recording more than 500 rebounds, 140 assists, and over 100 steals.
His outstanding senior season earned him 1st Team All–San Juan League honors.
Henry also led the San Juan League in both points per game and rebounds per game, averaging 24.3 points and 14.8 rebounds per game. Those numbers placed him #2 in Class 2A in scoring and #1 in rebounding. His rebounding average also ranked 27th in the nation.
Henry’s impact was highlighted by a historic performance against Dove Creek when he recorded 27 rebounds in a single game. That mark ranks 21st all-time in the state of Colorado, and it was the first time in nearly nine years that a player in the state reached that milestone.
Like Brodie, Henry also produced a 40-point game, accomplishing the feat on February 27th, 2026.
One unique connection between these two seniors is that both players recorded 40-point games during their Ridgway careers — a rare accomplishment that reflects the talent and competitiveness they brought to the court.
Statistics tell part of the story, but Henry and Brodie’s impact on the program goes far beyond numbers. Both players helped establish the work ethic, accountability, and competitive mindset that will continue to shape Ridgway Basketball moving forward.
They led a younger team through challenges, set the tone in practice, and represented the Demons with pride in every game they played.
To Henry and Brodie — thank you for your leadership, your dedication, and everything you gave to Ridgway Basketball.
Once a Demon, always a Demon.
We are proud of you both and excited to see what comes next.
